Heat-treatment is one of the key-components to achieve desired properties in tool- and die-steels. A bad heat-treatment cycle can “destroy” the highest quality of material and it is therefore of vital importance to find a reliable heat-treatment company with a high level of knowledge to heat-treat the respective material according to the specification of the steel producer.
